Gammex 142D and 143D Film/Screen Contact Test Tools
 
     Description: Good film-screen contact across the entire area of the screen is needed for quality diagnosis. Routine testing of all of the cassettes in the department detects areas of poor film-screen contact as part of the QA process before blurred areas interfere with patient care. Such testing is often a regulatory requirement. The Gammex 142D and 143D film-screen contact tools can test cassettes of any size up to 14x17 inches. The 142D is wire mesh, and the 143D is perforated brass. Both are enclosed in a protective cover.
